There’s never been a better time to buy a t-shirt, a CD, or New Nostalgia sheet music to support us and this incredible organization. Thanks :)

New Single Available Now

Just in time for Valentine’s Day we covered one of our favorite love songs, Caroline Polachek’s ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings’

It’s our most sappy, lovey-dovey cover yet

Check Out the Video

To celebrate the new single we got dressed up, lit some candles, and played the tune live in a beautiful Chicago living room setting. It was so romantic, truly a night to remember 😎

We write cool music!

Go check out our single Halloween, our most ambitious (and spookiest) tune yet.

We do crazy covers!

We love taking cool songs, and doing them our way. Dig our version of Cut Copy’s Stars Last Me a Lifetime mangled and rearranged by Neil Carson, our altoist.

More About Us

New Nostalgia is a Chicago-based fusion horn band, blending jazz, pop and rock flavors together in hard-hitting instrumental ensemble arrangements. Led by saxophonist and composer/ arranger Neil Carson, New Nostalgia straddles genre lines with intricate arranging and improvisation, singable melodies, and unstoppable rock energy.

“[P]ower-polychord instrumental rock at its finest...toying thoughtfully with form, deconstructing and reconstructing melody lines...[and] soloing with soul-stirring exuberance.”

— ED ENRIGHT, DOWNBEAT (JANUARY 2020)
